Crowcroft Park Primary School

Digital Ambassadors

Who We Are

At Crowcroft Park, we’re proud to have a team of Digital Ambassadors, pupils from Years 4, 5, and 6 who are specially trained in Online Safety and supporting their peers.

Throughout the year, our Digital Ambassadors work with other pupils, setting fun challenges and activities that help everyone learn how to stay safe and confident online. They also lead assemblies to share key messages and promote positive online behaviour across the school.

To make sure support is always available, our Ambassadors have created an Online Worry Box and an Online Safety webpage, which can be used even outside school hours. The worry boxes are checked daily, and any concerns are dealt with carefully and respectfully.

Worry-Box

If you ever have a worry, big or small, you can send a message through the Worry Box. Your message will go directly to Mrs Francis, who will listen, talk things through with you and your teachers, and make sure you feel happy and supported.

What We’ve Achieved So Far

After being chosen as Digital Ambassadors, we began our journey by learning how to make a positive difference across our school. We explored how to stay safe and respectful online, recognise risks, and support others when they need help.

We were also inspired by Patrik from BehavioursOnline, who helped us think about how our everyday digital choices can make a big impact.

To involve our families, we hosted an Online Safety Workshop where we introduced ourselves, explained our roles, and even ran a prize draw for parents, with the winner announced in a video we created and uploaded to our Digital Ambassadors webpage.

Our Goals for This Year

This year, our mission is to make sure everyone in our school community is digitally smart, safe, and strong, both online and offline.

We plan to:

  • Work with Dobir, the Prevent Lead for MCC, to learn more about resilience, inclusion, and positive online behaviour.

  • Continue developing our skills with Patrik from BehavioursOnline, building confidence as digital role models.

  • Achieve the Safe360 Online Safety Accreditation, showing that Crowcroft Park is a school where everyone knows how to stay safe online.

  • Learn about the Prevent strategy and how it helps protect people from harmful or extremist influences.

  • Create posters and assemblies to spread messages of safety, kindness, and resilience in the digital world.

  • Launch a “Think Before You Click” Week filled with activities, quizzes, and challenges.

  • Design animations, posters, and displays that promote respect and digital wellbeing.

  • Start a peer support drop-in where pupils can get advice about online issues.

  • Share our progress with parents and the wider community through newsletters, social media, and exhibitions.

Together, we’ll continue to lead the way as positive digital citizens by spreading awareness, building resilience, and helping everyone use technology safely, respectfully, and confidently.
